Operations Segment
The Operations section allow you to describe how your business will run. Those to whom you present your business idea will want to know information about your business that can generally be grouped into the following categories: Operations, Location, Structure, and Management.
Covering these target areas will help give interested parties a broad perspective of how the business will actually function. Points that can be mentioned within each category include the following:

- The advantages of this location
- The reason for this location
Structure:
- The employee hierarchy
- The various departments within the organization
- Business hours
Management:
- The management team for the business
- Their experience as it relates to the business
- How they will contribute to the business
The Entrepreneurial Perspective: This section gives a written perspective of how the nuts and bolts of the business will work day to day and will be useful as a reference when it is actually time to implement the processes and plans mentioned.
The Investor Perspective: Investors gain additional insight into the potential viability of your firm through seeing how your firm will operate and who will be in charge. Be sure to note any competitive advantages that a particular facet of your Operations possesses. In addition, detailing the relevant experience of management and potential partners within the firm is key to proving that your idea will be sustainable.
The Partnership Perspective: Providing the proposed operations of your firm to potential partners will help them see how their particular talents and abilities can fit within the firm or enhance the firm's Operational strategy. It can also help both you and them to determine whether or not they would be a good fit for the firm after all.
